Here’s the deal. When this news drops, it could send share prices skyrocketing north as revenue increase news can be a strong catalyst towards stocks surging.
Plus, the above news could act very similar to the news catalyst on last week’s monster winner, OPTT. When I was scanning the markets and saw OPTT‘s press release (Ocean Power Technologies Wins Contract with Leading Oil & Gas Operator), I knew share prices could be ready to burst (and did they ever)!
OPTT ran from an approximate alert of $7.00 to a high of $16.20! That was calculated at a 131% run!
There is another reason I bring up OPTT. It was able to make that gigantic run within a single day because of its share structure. With a float of roughly 1.2mn shares, share prices can rise quickly due to the low amount of available shares to trade.
WLAB, like OPTT, has a very low float. OTCMarkets tabs the company at having roughly 4.5mn shares in its float!
This means WLAB needs to be watched closely as volatility can provide a sharp surge in price if a catalyst proves the move worthy.
Here are some other key details to focus on:
(1.) WLAB has a 9 and 14-Day Relative Strength Index right around neutral (50%) leaving it plenty of potential room for growth.
(2.) WLAB has a triggered 7-Day Average Directional Indicator.
(3.) WLAB has a triggered 20-Day Moving Average vs. Price.
(4.) WLAB is trading above its 5-Day Exponential Moving Average and its 13-Day EMA. Additionally, its 5-Day EMA is trading above its 13-Day EMA.
These indicators cannot be overlooked heading into today’s bell. Between them, recent/upcoming news (especially about 2018 revenues), and a low float share structure, WLAB could be primed for a potential price explosion.
