To help prevent the spread of the virus, companies are working to create vaccine passports.  Some of those companies include ScreenPro Security (CSE: SCRN), Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Salesforce.com Inc. (NYSE:CRM), Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL), and IBM (NYSE:IBM).

In fact, as reported by Benzinga, “As the world begins to recover from the pandemic, having electronic access to vaccination, testing, and other medical records will be vital to resuming travel and more,” said Mike Sicilia, executive vice president of Oracle’s global business units. The group anticipates that a trustworthy, traceable, verifiable, and universally recognized digital record of vaccination is urgently needed.”

In addition, according to The Wall Street Journal, “The European Union said it was introducing a vaccination ‘passport’ in both digital and paper form for EU citizens traveling within the bloc. The document will carry health-related data including vaccination and test histories.”
