Past Champ (VUZI) Is A Nasdaq Breakout Idea With A Massive Analyst Target (Acquisition + Revenue Growth News)

Dawson James $15 Target Provides Over 275% Potential Upside From Current Levels

January 9th

Greetings Readers,

Ready? Good. We've got a lot to go over.

Up next is a past champ that, well, absolutely blew the doors of the market when I brought it to your attention back in 2020.

After alerting this Nasdaq idea, all it did was climb approximately $25.00+ in the span of a handful of months.

Yes. You read that correctly.

$25.00+.

When the dust settled, this breakout idea had put together a mind-blowing run of approximately 400+%.

Nuts. I know.

If you've been watching recently, we've been crushing it with breakout ideas.

For 1/4, I brought a Nasdaq idea to your attention that ran approximately 15% intraday.

My alert from 12/30 opened that session at $1.37 before finding a new 1/4 high of $2.66.

Just like that, snap, approximately 94% in under a week.

We've been red hot, but nothing may compare to this past champ coming your way shortly.

And based on its huge analyst target providing over 275% potential upside, showcasing at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, a game-changing acquisition, and a recent Q3 revenue growth announcement, this Nasdaq profile requires immediate attention.

For Tuesday, January 10th, this Nasdaq past champ needs top spot on your watch-list:

And as I mentioned above, VUZI has multiple potential catalysts that could provide it with a breakout spark. Check them out:

No. 1 VUZI Potential Catalyst - A Massive $15 Target From Dawson James

On July 18th, 2022, James McIlree, an analyst with Dawson James Securities, reiterated his $15 target on VUZI.

From Monday's closing valuation, that provides VUZI with over 275% potential upside.

Here's some key highlights from the report:

Vuzix announced a volume purchase order for a custom designed waveguide from a U.S.-based Fortune 50 software and hardware technology customer. There are seven U.S. based technology hardware and software companies, Alphabet, Microsoft, Meta, Dell, Intel and IBM, in the Fortune 50. Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet and Meta have expressed interest in the head mounted display market for many years and given the challenges of developing and manufacturing waveguides and display engines that are small, inexpensive, and lightweight, any of these are potential customers for Vuzix.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the order is for a head-mounted display product development program. We believe these programs begin small, typically between $500K to $2Mn, and if successful can turn into something much more substantial.

Vuzix is also expanding its waveguide capacity both in response to customer indications of interest and to make itself the number one choice of waveguides in the OEM market for industrial and consumer use. ... We believe Vuzix can be one of the leading suppliers of waveguides and that this in-vest-ment will enhance that capability.

The company is also working with five major defense contractors on waveguide-based products and expects to add more customers before year-end and begin development work that lasts into next year. The challenge has been the long-lead time involved in this type of work, but once deployment begins production runs can be long and very pro-fit-able. We estimate typical production contracts could generate $10 to $15Mn over a multi-year time frame. We believe Vuzix is pursuing multiple opportunities in the defense market, particularly in heads-up and helmet-mounted display. Importantly, its 10-year non-compete agreement in the U.S. military market expired in mid-June giving it the freedom to be more aggressive in this space.

Price Target Methodology. Our $15 price target values the company’s smart glasses and waveguide businesses at a significant discount to recent market transactions in the smart glasses space of $775Mn to $2Bn and $500Mn to $542Mn in the waveguide market.

No. 3 VUZI Potential Catalyst - An Acquisition (Moviynt®) That Could Become A Major Game-Changer

Vuzix Acquires SAP Software Solution Provider Moviynt™

- Solutions will support optimization of mobile workflows that address handheld scanners, mobile phones and wearable devices for warehousing and logistics customers

- The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), ("Vuzix" or, the "Company"), a leading supplier of Smart Glasses and Augmented Reality (AR) technology and products, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Moviynt®, a US-based SAP Certified ERP platform software solution provider, to support handheld mobile phones and scanners used in logistics, warehousing and manufacturing applications. The acquisition of Moviynt further positions Vuzix as a software solutions provider capable of expanding access and interaction between wearable and handheld devices that will help drive further market adoption to manage day-to-day business activities such as supply chain operations that are tied to ERP systems.

With the acquisition, Moviynt becomes a Vuzix wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition is expected to be accretive with a low six figure revenue contribution projected for 4Q2022. Moviynt's SAP-based ERP mobility software solution is currently deployed in multiple customer sites and is undergoing proof of concept evaluations at several new warehousing sites across the United States and in Europe at a Fortune 500 aerospace and defense customer.

...

"The acquisition of Moviynt bolsters Vuzix' portfolio of product offerings to now include a software solutions platform that can be integrated with other smart devices for warehousing and logistics, and one that we believe can be leveraged and adopted by end customers and ISVs/partners alike," said Paul Travers, President and CEO of Vuzix. "Because the underlying technology and architecture of the solution does not contain any middleware, we believe the Moviynt platform could be a key enabler for Vuzix partners to enhance the adoption of mobility technology and wearables such as smart glasses. Our initial go to market strategy will be to expand the addressable market with targeted customer opportunities and to work closely with our key ISVs/partners to drive adoption of wearables and reach within warehousing and logistics."
